Simple, but not easy

Are we limited by factors beyond our control?  Or are we limited by our fears?  More often than not, it's the voice inside that stops us.  To prove myself wrong, one day I decided to give myself a challenge.  I've always admired people who do triathlons, so I signed up for a local triathlon.  One of my coworkers was really into triathlons, so I asked him what his secret was.

He said, " It's simple.  Give up beer.  Go to sleep early.  Wake up at 5am and train."
"Really?  That simple?"
"Simple, yes, but not easy."

So that kind of stuck with me.

Luckily, I did have a few advantages over other neophytes.  I'm a pretty good swimmer, so at least I didn't have to worry about that.  I read up on strategies on how to improve running and biking.  When the day came, I was glad to have finished the race!  What a wonderful experience, to know that you can turn impossible into possible!

Break down the goal, find a strategy, and execute.  When was the last time you turned impossible into possible?
